The agreement

Terms & Conditions

The terms you agree to when you book a Mail Club envelope.

By completing payment for any Mail Club by NiMuSha wave, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not proceed with payment.

  1. Age requirement

Mail Club is intended for participants aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete the purchase on your behalf, or provide written consent before you participate. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where this requirement is not met.

  2. Shipping address accuracy

You are responsible for entering your full and correct shipping address, including pin code and phone number, at the time of purchase. Once an order has been handed over to the courier, we are not able to redirect, correct, or reprint it. If your parcel is delayed, misdelivered, or lost because of an incomplete or incorrect address, we are not responsible for replacing it or issuing a refund. Please double check your address before completing payment.

  3. PAN India only

Mail Club delivers PAN India only — we ship only to addresses within India. We do not ship outside India, and we do not forward or re-send a parcel abroad. If you pay for a wave with an address outside India, your order will not be shipped and will not be refunded. Please make sure your shipping address is in India before completing payment.

  4. Limited batches

Each wave is released in a strictly limited quantity. Mail Club is run and funded independently by Muskan, without a markup built in to cover reprints, so once a wave's spots are filled or its window has closed, we are not able to produce additional copies of that wave, even for genuine requests. This is a capacity limit, not a reflection of demand, and we're sorry in advance if you miss a wave you wanted.

  5. Delivery timelines and courier handling

Once your parcel is handed to our courier or postal partner, it is in their care, and delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss that occurs during transit, or for the condition your envelope arrives in — how it is carried and handed over is the courier's doing, not ours. If something goes wrong in transit, we will help you as best we can, but we cannot guarantee a resolution, replacement, or refund for issues that are outside our control once the parcel has left us.

  6. Protecting yourself from courier scams

Please do not share your OTP, ID proof, or any legal or personal documents with anyone claiming to be delivering your Mail Club parcel unless you have verified they are calling or writing from our stated, registered courier partner. We will never ask you for an OTP over call or message to “release” or “confirm” a delivery. If you receive a suspicious request like this, do not respond, and reach out to us directly to confirm. We are not responsible for any loss, harm, or fraud that results from sharing this information with someone outside our verified courier partner.

  7. Candle and product safety

Some Mail Club parcels include hand-poured candles or other small physical items. Always burn candles on a heat-safe surface, away from anything flammable, curtains, and children or pets, and never leave a lit candle unattended. Trim the wick before each use. We are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from improper or unsupervised use of any item included in your parcel.

  8. Nature of the content

Mail Club's stories, letters, and any paranormal or folklore-themed content are written for entertainment purposes only. They are creative and fictional in nature and are not intended as factual claims, medical or psychological guidance, or religious instruction. Reader discretion is advised for anyone sensitive to horror or supernatural themes.

  9. What's inside is an example, not a promise

Everything this website shows or describes — stories, poems, recipes, objects, art and paper, scents, cards, anything in a photo or a past month's mail — is an example of what an envelope can hold, not a list of what it will hold. Every month is different, everything is chosen by hand, and nothing shown here is guaranteed to turn up in yours.

What a wave does promise is the number of pieces written on its card: a handwritten letter, plus the extra pieces that wave includes.

  10. This is a hobby, not a business

Mail Club is run by one person as a creative side project, not as a shop or a company, and it is not run for profit. What you pay is a token amount — it exists so the mail isn't free, not to cover what it costs. Most of the cost of making and posting each envelope is paid out of my own pocket.

Please take it in that spirit. It is one person sharing creative things by post, with the care of a person and not the guarantees of a shop.

  11. Paying for your mail

Pay only through the Razorpay link on this website. It is the only payment route we use and the only one we can trace. If you pay any other way — to another account, through someone else, or on a link that did not come from this site — we take no responsibility for it and it does not book you a spot.

If you pay more than once, we do not refund the extra. You will get an envelope for each payment, or you can write to us and ask us to donate the extras.

Anything that goes wrong with a payment itself is between you and Razorpay — money debited with no order, a failed transaction, a double charge shown by your bank. Raise it with Razorpay directly. We have no access to that and cannot resolve it for you.

  12. Refunds, returns and cancellations

No refunds. No returns. No cancellations.

Once your payment has gone through, your booking is final. We do not refund, return, exchange or cancel an order — not for a change of mind, and not for any other reason.

Changed your mind? Write to us at candlesbynimusha@gmail.com before your envelope is posted and tell us you don't want it delivered. You can ask us to donate it — we will send it to someone else, free, in your place. That is the one thing we can offer, and we are glad to do it.

The only exception is us. If I cancel a month's batch myself, everyone who paid for that month gets their money back.

  13. Circumstances beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to postal or courier disruptions, natural events, government restrictions, or other circumstances that prevent us from dispatching or delivering your parcel on schedule.

  14. Your information

The name, email, phone number, and address you provide at checkout are used only to process, prepare, and ship your Mail Club order, and to contact you about it if needed. We do not sell your information to third parties.

  15. Changes to these policies

We may update these policies from time to time as Mail Club grows. The version live on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to your order.

  16. Questions or concerns

For anything not covered here, or if something has gone wrong with your order, reach out to us at candlesbynimusha@gmail.com and we'll do our best to help.
